There is always something going on at the zoo. Especially in spring, when the offspring of many animals hatch or are born. But also otherwise there is always something new to discover. Exotic plants, a fascinating animal world and numerous locations for your event, which we would like to introduce to you in more detail.

Zoocafè

Start your event at the zoo with a joint breakfast or aperitif, for 60 to 80 participants, directly at the main entrance. Afterwards, your group can go on a guided tour or explore the zoo on their own.

Restaurant Altes Klösterli – cozy – swiss style

• five renovated halls in different sizes
• suitable for small private events as well as for occasions with up to 112 people
• summer terrace with a fantastic view of the Glattal valley

Restaurant Masaola – tropical – exotic

Dive into the Madagascan jungle during a guided tour. Here it can happen that you meet the free-living inhabitants. Red varis, chameleons, flying foxes and numerous birds will take you into the animal world of Madagascar. In the Masoala restaurant you will enjoy Malagasy specialties and refreshing drinks.

• Dinner at round tables for a maximum of 150 guests

Pantanal Restaurant at Zurich Zoo

Welcome to South America. In summer, enjoy a sumptuous barbecue buffet on the spacious terrace, where the sounds of animals in the evening provide a wonderful backdrop. The furnishings of the halls are reminiscent of the rough life of the South American gauchos and give your event a touch of the Wild West.

• Miranda room for up to 190 people
• Both halls can be combined up to 350 guests
• Terrace for 300 people maximum

Kifaru Lounge

Experience the vast landscape of Africa. Celebrate exclusive events for up to 30 people among African animals. Giraffes, rhinos, sprawling umbrella trees, zebras – a touch of savannah at Zurich Zoo.

Thailodge

Thai ambience and a unique architecture make the Thailodge a popular event location at Zurich Zoo. On a guided tour you will get to know the elephants and their modern facility. Afterwards you will be spoiled with Asian delicacies. The Kaeng Krachan Elephant Park offers numerous possibilities for events with up to 200 guests.

Mora-Mora Bar

In the middle of greenery, in the middle of the rainforest. Spend your aperitif with up to 40 guests or your dinner for up to 20 participants in the Masaola Rainforest.

Animal houses and outdoor locations at Zurich Zoo

Spend an exclusive event with your guests in the heart of the zoo. Whether in the Australian outback, eye to eye with the lions or in the underwater worlds of the aquarium – the choice of location depends on your preferences and the number of participants.

Seminar rooms

Leave your own four walls and work with your team in the relaxed environment of the Zurich Zoo. Workshops with 12 people as well as seminars with up to 150 people with concert seating, can easily be held at Zurich Zoo. Here you will not only find the right infrastructure for your seminar, but also numerous possibilities for the supporting program.
